I see that our dear friends in No 10 are hard at work again spinning about ID Cards. Thankfully, the nice people at NO2ID have issued a nice clear translation of what the government have actually said. As usual, we find that we are being taken for a ride.
Whilst browsing the NO2ID site, I also noticed some rather nice posters for an event in Cambridge. You have to give credit to people who can put Churchill, Thatcher and Blair into the same group.
All in in all, I was very grateful to see that NO2ID had a stand in Brighton today. Making public the issues and problems in this poorly conceived scheme is essential.
